But what truly set this event apart wasn’t just the creativity of our team—it was the unique and playful way their ideas were evaluated.

Why We Built "The Judge"
The concept of using AI to judge creativity emerged as part of Tiburon’s broader strategy to integrate AI into every aspect of our operations. But just as importantly, it was born out of a desire to experiment and have fun with AI in an unconventional way.
Eric, one of our Senior Partners and the mastermind behind “The Judge,” explains:
“The goal was to demonstrate how AI could handle complex evaluative tasks like judging creativity and innovation. At the same time, it was an opportunity to explore AI’s potential in a lighthearted and enjoyable way.”
“The Judge” consisted of a three-judge panel, individually powered by a leading AI model—Anthropic/Claude AI, Gemini/Google AI, and OpenAI/ChatGPT. This format allowed for varied perspectives and showcased the flexibility of AI in novel applications.
How "The Judge" Worked:
Fun, Fair, and Futuristic
The process began with uploading all the submissions into a unified knowledge base. Each AI judge was tasked with evaluating the entries based on predefined criteria:
- Innovation Level: How novel is the idea?
- Practical Feasibility: Can this idea be realistically implemented?
- Potential Business Impact: What value does it bring to Tiburon or its clients?
- Problem-Solution Fit: Does the idea address a clear need effectively?
- Scalability: Can the idea grow with Tiburon’s business objectives
These criteria ensured a balanced and strategic evaluation, with each AI judge independently ranking submissions and selecting winners. The results were then analyzed for overlaps and unique insights across the three judges.
